Brandi+ Gurcak has lived experience with DID and became aware of their system in 2000. They are a therapist and owner at Authentic Insight LLC while also working as a Clinical Supervisor with Elliot Counseling. Brandi+ specializes in attachment, trauma, dissociation, neurodivergence, hoarding, and LGBTQIA+ while also offering supervision and consultation to providers in the field. They are a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. They hold a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a MS in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Brandi+ has additional training in the treatment of schizophrenia, addictions (chemical and process), DBT, and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. They are certified in EMDR through EMDRIA and are a EMDR Consultant-in-Training.
