Cynthia Wilson
Bio
Cynthia Wilson is a registered and board-certified art therapist with a doctorate in Art therapy. She is an author, presenter, consultant, art therapy supervisor and survivor. Her clinical work, research and writing include destigmatization, collaborative care, attunement, communication, trauma and dissociative spectrum responses. In private practice, she works with children, adults, groups and families with issues of trauma, dementia, dissociation, behavioral and learning differences, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and rehabilitation, skilled nursing and sub-acute placements. Her primary focus is on various brain differences with a sensory motor or mind/body connection and rediscovering self and place in the world/community with the use of art therapy.
