Holly Golden, LMHC, LMFT
Bio
Holly Golden, LMFT, LMHC, is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant with 10 years of experience treating individuals, couples, and families. She specializes in helping adolescents and adults heal from severe attachment wounding.
Holly began her career working for a small government agency, providing in-school and in-home family therapy to children, adolescents, and their parents. She has always been passionate about working with systems, both internal systems and family systems.
Furthering her education, Holly trained in and became certified in Attachment-Focused Trauma Treatment for Adults (AFTT-A) and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). After utilizing these approaches with some of her most wounded clients, she noticed that many needed more than EMDR or SSP.
Holly learned about DBR through her EMDR colleagues and trained in person with Dr. Frank Corrigan at the ISSTD Conference in March 2025. She has now completed all three levels of DBR training and is currently pursuing certification as a Deep Brain Reorienting Practitioner (DBR-P).
She strongly believes that DBR can provide unique relief from the symptoms of attachment wounding by healing the shock of aloneness pain stored deep within the brain.
