Nicole Greenwood is a registered nurse with seven years of experience. She received her BSN from East Carolina University. Her nursing specialties include cardiothoracic surgery, emergency medicine, and psychiatric care across the lifespan. Drawing from both her professional experience as a nurse and her lived experience navigating healthcare, Nicole is particularly interested in the ways trauma can influence physical and mental health and how patients can advocate for their own care. She is passionate about understanding the ways trauma can affect the body and nervous system and exploring how this knowledge can be applied to improve care, treatment, and health outcomes. In her free time, Nicole enjoys playing team sports, photography, thrifting, and taking walks with her dog, Scout.
