Beth (Peacock System, they/them)

Bio

Boozhoo, Annin! My name is Beth Jacobs, my patrilineal relatives are Anishinaabe Ojibwe from Walpole Island First Nation and my matrilineal relatives are Settler Newfoundlander. I see my involvement in community, academia, and healing relations as someone who helps advocate for transformative justice, wholistic healing, and reconciliation within the spaces I am in. My hope is that when I engage in conversations and co-creation of responses to systemic oppression and injustice, My life goal is to walk alongside survivors of trauma journeys of healing and transformation. I hold special care for members of BIPOC, Queer, Neurodiverse, and Disabled communities, including survivors with dissociative experiences and/or folks who identify as multiple. I come to the circle on what our team is engaging in, to see transformative change which supports individual and collective wellness.
